The new James Madison STEAM Academy PreK-8 began construction of a building that will replace Madison Elementary in Greeley, CO. A Mission and Vision Task Force met in late 2020 and received input from students and parents. The school will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) and will work toward becoming an AVID Showcase School.
Staff and students voted to keep the eagle mascot, but update the design and colors of James Madison STEAM Academy. The logo was identified and rendered to the liking of the committee and staff of the school.
